With Chelsea's latest problems related to its alcohol license, Red Star has stepped up to host two bands originally scheduled to play Friday at the Perkins Road venue.

The Laurel Street bar will now host Streamline and Oh Juliet. The show starts at 10:30.

"It would be a shame if a good band had to suffer because of this unfortunate situation," Red Star owner Frank McMains said in an email.
