Balloon festival gets off to a slow start Friday

Photographer Daniel Jackson was on hand Friday for the kickoff of the 2009 Pennington Balloon Championship. A nearby weather system prompted a delay of some of the festivities and grounded the balloons, but the balloonists will get another crack Saturday and Sunday.
